Music and Performing Arts Salford (MAPAS) would like to invite you to attend the music lead network meeting.
The focus for this meeting will be to explore how you can set up your own school music ensemble which will link in with the National Plan for Music Education.
In the meeting we will discuss how to set up a school ensemble, explore how to structure a rehearsal, how to plan music resources for a mixture of instruments and how to conduct. As part of the session, we will also create our very own Samba band, learning a new skill which can then be used in your classroom music lessons.
