Another library is re-opening.
We are delighted that from Monday 12 October, Pendleton Library re-opened. Swinton, Broughton, Eccles, Height, Winton, Little Hulton and Cadishead Libraries are already open and welcoming back customers.
The emphasis will be on the safety of our customers and our staff, so things will need to be a little different from normal.
The new opening hours for Pendleton Library are:
We will be following government advice and strict safety measures, especially around social distancing, cleaning and hygiene, and will be asking all customers to co-operate.
At Pendleton Library, Swinton Library, Eccles Library and Broughton Library we are offering 2 services for our members – Browsing Appointments and PC Appointments.
At Height, Winton, Little Hulton and Cadishead Libraries we are offering 2 services – Call & Collect and PC Appointments.
Call us to arrange a session to visit the library and choose your books. You can select up to 10 books and sessions are for 20 minutes. When you call we will explain our safety measures.

Call us to book a one-hour appointment to use a computer. We will explain new procedures, including cleaning the PCs and safety measures. Staff will be on hand to ensure you are able to log on to a PC but will not be able to provide further help because of social distancing requirements. Printing is available at Pendleton Library, Swinton Library, Eccles Library and Broughton Library, Height Library, Little Hulton Library and Winton Library.

Call us to arrange to collect books from Height, Winton, Cadishead and Little Hulton Libraries. Whilst we are unable to reserve specific books for you, we will do our best to ensure you get books that are suitable and make up a selection based on your preferences and interests. When you call we will explain our book quarantining and other safety measures.
