As part of the GM Walking Festival 2023, Salford Community Leisure are offering a series of free one-off wellbeing walks throughout the month of May.
Our walks provide a relaxed, sociable and fun environment. The walks range from 30 minutes to an hour long, and the 30 minute walks provide a slower, steadier, accessible pace.
The Wellbeing Walks are co-ordinated by Salford Community Leisure and are led by trained volunteers.

What is the GM Walking Festival?
May is the month of the GM Walking Festival 2023, a collection of over 250 free group walks by hosting a number of free, organised group walks for staff. It’s also National Walking Month, a celebration of the positive benefits of walking on our physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.
