Group details

In this group members will learn all about what it really takes to make music as part of a group as well as having the opportunity to develop their skills further and can often be found working on and ultimately performing brilliant arrangements of music from film, TV and musical theatre. If you play a brass or woodwind instrument or are a drum kit player or percussionist then Training Band is for you.

Please note, you need to register for each MAPAS group you wish to attend, however all groups are included in your single monthly membership fee.

*Please note that Training Band members are expected to be receiving a weekly individual or small group instrumental lesson on their instrument.

How do I join?

You can apply to join one of our groups online. Some groups welcome complete beginners but most groups do have some entry requirements (e.g. age or standard) so be sure to check which group is right for you.

Memberships

Children – £10 per month (1 group), £12 per month (2 or more groups)
Adults – £15 per month (1 group), £17 per month (2 or more groups)
