You must be a member of Salford Libraries to borrow the books. Non-members can join online for free.

A maximum of 2 library books can be borrowed at one time using the Spydus mobile library app, which can be downloaded for free from mobile app stores.

Simply download the Spydus app, login with your borrower ID and 4-digit PIN and follow the instructions to scan and borrow the book. If you have any problems, please contact us.

You can keep the books for 3 weeks and they should be returned to the library corner or any library in Salford. Salford libraries are fine free so there is nothing to pay for late books and books can be renewed using the Spydus app.

Library members can also access free eBooks and eAudiobooks, and discover the new eNewspaper and eMagazine service, using the free BorrowBox app on a smartphone or tablet.

Alternatively, visit any one of our 16 libraries to discover a wider collection of books, and take advantage of what else is on offer, such as reading groups and storytimes.
