Youth Clubs

Operated by our Active Communities Team, SCL are proud to host a range of Youth Clubs and Holiday provisions across the city. Featuring a whole range of activities, from water sports, to football, dance, skateboarding, arts and crafts, gaming and more. Our Youth Clubs and Holiday camps offer children and young people an opportunity to stay active, socialise and try something new.

I like coming to the youth club, I have made new friends. The sport fun and engaging and everyone is included. The equipment is good too. The activities are different week in, week out and you can develop and learn new skills.

The Den is your local hub for play, sport and creativity in Walkden.

The Den is a multi-functional space designed to bring your community together under one roof. From first steps to golden years, there is something here everyone.

Set conveniently in Walkden Town Centre Retail Park, The Den is easily accessible by a wide range of public transport, while the retail park benefits from extensive parking, including disabled parking bays.

The Den is the ultimate versatile location. Sessions like ‘Shop & Drop’ give you the opportunity to get the weekly shop in while the kids are safe and entertained in our dedicated youth space, while we also offer a range of birthday party options, and weekly activities for everyone from tiny tots to senior citizens.
