Full of specialist resources to help make reading more accessible. Including Braille Books (grades 1 & 2), Giant Print, Large Print (various font types and sizes), Dyslexia friendly books, Read-alongs, Storysacks, Sensory Stories and Living Paintings books.

Combining simple dance routines along with the use of equipment including ribbons, scarves, pom poms and parachutes, the fun routines and activities are designed so that everyone can join in and have a good time.

Tuesdays from 6:30 - 8:30pm at The Beacon Centre, Salford.
This choir is for any SEND children with a love of singing or music making. Rehearsals are lively and fun as children develop their voices and instrumental playing as part of a group. The group rehearse at Oakwood Academy.
Mondays, 3:15 - 4:00pm for ages 18 and under, Oakwood Academy.
The Rainbow Rooms choir is for any young adults with SEND. The sessions are designed to build confidence and are adapted to suit each individual needs. Sessions contain plenty of fun and laughter and strong friendships are also formed. The groups perform regularly at our MAPAS Centre showcase concerts.
Wednesdays, 5:30 - 6:15pm, ages 18-25 years, The Rainbow Rooms Community Centre
Sessions are specially tailored for families to enjoy swim time together with a child who has a disability or additional needs. Sessions run on Thursdays, 6-7pm at Irlam & Cadishead Leisure Centre and Sundays, 2-3pm at Worsley Leisure Centre.
Starfish are our SEN swimming lessons for children with additional needs. The lessons are designed to provide a fun and engaging introduction to the water. They focus on building a child’s confidence, buoyancy, and balance, helping them feel comfortable and safe in the water.
