Following the Government announcement on 8 December that Plan B Covid measures were being introduced in England, Salford Community Leisure will be reintroducing and reinforcing certain measures to ensure the safety of our customers and our people as of 10 December.
Face masks
- Leisure centres – Whilst exercise facilities are exempt from mask wearing regulations, we are advising that customers wear face coverings in communal and public areas outside of dedicated exercise areas unless exempt.
- Museums, MAPAS, Libraries & Community Centres – In our museums, MAPAS, libraries and community centres, customers will be required to wear face coverings unless exempt from doing so.
Cleaning, ventilation and social distancing
- Hand sanitiser stations will continue to be available to use and we encourage that they are used regularly by customers.
- Staff will continue to clean down touch points regularly.
- We encourage customers to maintain personal space where possible and screens will be kept up at points of sale.
- Staff will continue to ventilate rooms regularly during the day.
