MAPAS Summer School

The MAPAS Summer School is back for 2025!

Join us for four fantastic days of Music and Performing Arts making this August.  Our theme for this year is ‘Planet Earth’.

The course will end with a short performance for family and friends at 2:30pm on Thursday 14th August.

Included in the Summer School there will be:

• One off instrument workshops
• Composition workshops
• Improvising workshops
• Dance workshops
• Drama workshops
• Orchestra
• Choir
• Music games and much more…

Cost

£30 per day / £100 full week.

Suitable for

Open to all children aged 7-12 years.

Venue

Moorside High School, Swinton.

Important information

• Children who play a musical instrument will be required to bring it to each day of the course.
• If your child doesn’t play a musical instrument, don’t worry, they will be allocated one by MAPAS (usually percussion or keyboard).
• Children will require a packed lunch and re-fillable water bottle for each day of the course.
• Children are welcome to bring balls/games/books for use during breaktimes/lunchtimes.
• Phones and tablets are discouraged.
