Get ready for a spooktacular day out!
Whether you’re taking part in the dash or just coming along to enjoy the spooky family fun, don’t miss out on a packed day of workshops, interactive experiences, and thrilling performances.
Take on the Monster Dash Challenge with a Participant Ticket, or skip the dash and still enjoy all the spooky festivities with a Non-Participant Ticket. Either way, there’s something for everyone – come along and be part of the Halloween fun!
Participant Ticket: Monster Dash Challenge
- Entry to a wave slot of your choice – 1 hour to complete the challenge you set yourself. You can either walk or run, 1 lap or 20 laps – the choice is yours!
- Fun warm up – start the challenge with a spooky themed warm up routine led by special Halloween characters
- Exclusive rewards: certificate of participation, bespoke Monster Dash medal, hot drink, and entry into the Strava Team App to compete against others
- Fun competitions: Leader board challenge, prizes for fastest lap, furthest distance, and best Halloween fancy dress in each wave – so come dressed to impress!
- Fun for all ages – with spooky sticker maps available to keep little ones entertained along the way!

Non-Participant Ticket
Gain entry to the event and enjoy a full day of fun! Cheer on your friends and family taking on the Monster Dash, or dive straight into our family friendly activities, games, and Halloween themed entertainment. Fun for the whole family!

We’re also hosting bookable workshops you won’t want to miss:
- Slime Lab – Step into the eerie laboratory of Mad Scientist Igor for a bubbling, squelching and monstrously fun Interactive Slime Workshop (pre-booking required)
- Lantern Making – Get creative and make your very own pumpkin or witch lantern to take home (pre-booking required)

- Meet & Greet with Elphaba & Glinda from WICKED
- 2pm to 6pm — Don’t miss your chance to meet these magical characters!
- The Addams Family Interactive Performances
- Show times: 2:30pm / 3:45pm / 4:15pm / 5:00pm
- Family Circus Workshop
- 3pm to 5pm — Learn circus skills the whole family can enjoy!
- Roaming Musical Performance by The Skiband
- Catch them at 2pm / 3:15pm / 4:30pm bringing spooky tunes to life!

The Active Communities team, part of Salford Community Leisure, is dedicated to enhancing the lives of Salford residents through a diverse range of activities.
