For our first talk, we will hear Derek Antrobus speak about Noah Robinson, one of the founding Fathers of modern Swinton.

For our second talk we welcome Domenic Vaughan from The Merry Trotter. A local history and heritage group dedicated to evoking nostalgia through the use of artefacts.

For our third talk, Library Development Officer Claire Gorton will be discussing the life of Charis Frankenburg, campaigner for maternity and infant welfare and the founder of one of the first birth control clinics in the country in Salford.

For our fourth and final talk, Chris Carson takes us back in time to Salford in Love On The Dole and the scenes as described in Walter Greenwood’s novel.
