This refreshed space has been thoughtfully designed to continue serving as a welcoming, inclusive space for the community.
Delivered through a strong and collaborative partnership between Salford Community Leisure and Salford Youth Service, The Den reflects a shared commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for people of all ages. The space will provide a safe, supportive environment where people can connect, grow, and thrive.
The Den will offer a wide and varied programme of activities, designed to meet the needs and interests of the whole community. From early years through to opportunities for older adults. The space will bring people together through play, physical activity, creativity, and social connection.
In addition, The Den will be available for children’s parties on Saturdays and Sundays, providing a fun, safe, and engaging environment for celebrations and special occasions.
Young people have been at the heart of The Den’s journey, playing a key role in shaping both the design of the space and how the programme will be delivered. Their voice and input have ensured that the space truly reflects the needs, interests and aspirations of the community.

With a dynamic programme set to be unveiled soon, The Den will play a key role in supporting health, wellbeing, and community cohesion.
