After a fantastic afternoon of swimming Broadoak Primary School came out on top as champions in the annual Salford Schools Swimming Gala final held at Irlam & Cadishead Leisure Centre on Wednesday 12th July 2023.
The final compromised of 6 schools from across the City of Salford who had each won through to the final by winning their respective gala at their home pool.
A special mention must go to our 3 Aquatic Co-ordinators Sara Azzi, Claire Gorvett and Helen Newell for their work organising the event alongside the staff from Irlam & Cadishead Leisure Centre.
We would also like to thank our 3 Local Councillors Hannah Robinson-Smith, Lewis Nelson and Yolanda Amana-Ghola for attending and supporting the event.
