MAPAS is working in partnership with Salford City Council’s Public Health and Starting Well teams. This project aligns with the ICP priority for children in Salford to have the Best Early Start. It supports the Transformation project for the Salford Early Years Delivery Model, prioritising early intervention to address inequalities and closing the word gap for Early Years children.
For this project, MAPAS collaborated with a Family Hub setting and PVI nursery setting in Salford to deliver Tune into Talking. The aim was to explore if music and singing could improve children’s speech language and communication skills.
