Salford Museum & Art Gallery is working in partnership with Salford City Council’s Public Health team. The aim is to test out developing museum exhibitions with a specific focus on increasing opportunities for social connection and creativity.
For this project, the museum collaborated with two community groups from Langworthy Cornerstone – Talk about it Mate and Women into Visual Arts – to develop an exhibition about colour and emotion.
Below are 3 films about the project. The first is the full film that showcases this project. There are then 2 shorter clips focusing on community engagement and wellbeing.
You can also download an Evaluation Report, which outline the projects aims and outcomes.
