To celebrate National Fitness Day on Wednesday 23 September, we’re offering 3 fantastic classes at Ordsall Leisure Centre. Come and join us and try something new, with Olympic Lifting and Grit Strength sessions.

Try Olympic Lifting

Perfect if you’re just starting out, looking to improve your technique, or simply want to add to your current fitness regime. Sessions will be tailored for attendees, focused on foundation work and dead lifts. Come down have a go.

Try Grit Strength

A 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, designed to improve strength, cardiovascular fitness and build lean muscle. This workout uses barbell, weight plate and bodyweight exercises to blast all major muscle groups. It takes cutting-edge HIIT and combines it with powerful music and inspirational coaches who will be down on the floor with you, motivating you to go harder to get fit, fast.

Session Times:

  • 10.00 – 11.30am – Olympic Lifting
  • 12.00 – 12.30pm – Grit Strength
  • 1.00 – 2.00pm – Olympic Lifting

Both sessions will be led by SCL instructor Chris Smith and open to SCL members and non-members .
