SCL in partnership with the Health Improvement Team are running free health checks for staff.
The Health Checks include height, weight, blood pressure and cholesterol. Type 2 Diabetes testing is also available if certain criteria are met. These results along with other information taken during the check are used to calculate your heart attack (CVD) risk in the next ten years.
The results are confidential and are delivered to you within the health check. Your results will be discussed, along with advice about further support available, including contacting your GP, and any changes that could make to help improve your health and aid lowering future heart attack (CVD) risks.
