Walking Football sessions at Salford Sports Village

These fun, friendly and low impact sessions are a great way of engaging in physical activity and socialising. Aimed at the over 50’s, both male and female players are welcome, regardless of experience.

Mike Sands, Football Assistant at Salford Sports Village said ‘A lot of friendships have been formed at the Walking Football sessions. The teams entertain other Walking Football teams here at Salford Sports Village and have entered competitions up and down the country. The teams always enjoy a wind down together in the café area after their session.’

Sessions are run by qualified FA coaches and take place:

Courses are booked on a rolling 6-week basis at a cost of £30.60. To enquire call SSV Reception on 0161 778 0106.
