FREE ONE DAY PASS FOR NATIONAL FITNESS DAY

Fancy a free gym, swim or class? Come along to your local SCL leisure centre on Wednesday 20th September, where we are offering a free day pass open to all. Join us for a gym, swim or choose one of our classes, some of which are running especially for National Fitness Day.

All of our sessions will be led by our supportive and knowledgeable fitness experts so don’t worry about any lack of gym experience. We’re getting involved in National Fitness Day to help encourage and raise awareness of the importance of exercise, not just for National Fitness Day but for life, helping us all to lead healthy lifestyles.

Once completed, you will receive your reference number by email. Please bring this along with you to your chosen leisure centre on Wednesday 20th September.

Your pass can be redeemed at one of the following centres, please note facilities vary per centre:

  • Broughton
  • Clarendon
  • Eccles
  • Irlam & Cadishead
  • Salford Sports Village
  • Swinton & Pendlebury
  • Worsley

Please note that if you would like to take part in a workout class as part of your visit, pre-booking is required.

Simply choose your desired class from the NFD class timetable below, then contact the Leisure Centre to book onto the class. To book onto the class please make sure you have your code from the registered email.

National Fitness Day classes

Leisure Centre Class Time Description
Eccles Stretch & Flex 12pm

 

Suitable for any level of fitness with a real focus on proper engagement of your abdominals to build core strength as well as toning and stretching your muscles to improve flexibility. Everyone will benefit from activating their muscles in the right way.
Eccles Strength Development 5pm Whether new to lifting or a seasoned pro, LES MILLS Strength Development will build muscle, improve technique, and grow confidence so you can train more powerfully in the studio/hall or on the gym floor.
Broughton Circuits 9:30am An excellent way to improve mobility, strength and stamina. Complete a series of varied exercises one after another each performed for a set time before moving on to the next. Simple fun and varied plus you choose the intensity of the workout!
Broughton Kettlebells 12pm Challenge yourself in a simple to pick up weight based session. Achieve genuine results and be amazed at the benefits to your strength, flexibility, muscle tone and overall body conditioning just by using a variety of easy to do kettle bell exercises.
Swinton HIIT The Rig 11am A workout designed by our gym floor staff, involving weights, gym floor equipment, battle ropes, air bikes, your own body weight, and numerous other pieces of equipment all placed strategically around the rig for an energising workout. Designed to target all members, from the experienced gym goer, to a complete novice.
