We are pleased to let you know that as of Monday 20 September we will be re-opening our sauna and steam room facilities at Broughton, Irlam & Cadishead and Worsley Leisure Centres.

Going forward you will be able to book sauna and steam room slots via the SCL app, online or by phoning the centre. Slots can be booked up to 7 days in advance for members and 3 days for non-members. Slots for Monday 20 September will be bookable from Thursday 16 September.

Booking on the SCL app*

To book a sauna or steam room slot on the SCL app simply open the app, select the centre and click onto ‘Book Sauna or Steam room session’.

If you haven’t already downloaded the SCL app, you can do so by opening the App store on an iPhone or Google Play on Android and searching ‘Salford Community Leisure’. Or follow the below link:

To book classes online you will need to have an account. Register here →.

If you are already within our system, a message will show saying ‘You are already registered with us’. This will send an email to the registered email on your account asking you to create a password. If you don’t receive this email, please contact your local leisure centre on 0161 778 0030 to update your email address connected to your account.

We will be introducing a late cancellation and non-attendance charge. If you pre book one of these sessions and decide not to attend you need to cancel the session at least 1 hour prior to the session start time to avoid a charge of £3.

If you are unable to cancel the session within the hour due to unforeseen reasons, please speak to the leisure centre who will consider removing the charge.
