Salford libraries are a great place to explore and have fun.
Help support your child’s reading, language development and learning skills by joining them to the library. There are some fantastic books available for children to borrow, including eBooks and e-Audiobooks, and there are also computers to use and a wide range of fun activities on offer.

Come along to our free Books & Rhymes sessions for children under five! They are a great way to make new friends in a session full of interactive stories, great singalongs and fun play!
Our Storynook spaces are the perfect alternative to traditional storytelling, offering families an escape from the everyday and a chance to explore and enjoy stories through active play.
Get started sharing stories and rhymes! If your child is aged 4 – 12 months and has not received their pack from your health visitor you can pick one up from any Salford library.
Little Reads is a fun, interactive session using stories, songs, dance and drama to explore children’s picture books.
Our new Sunflower Library is a welcoming space within Winton Library where you will find our range of specialist resources.
