To coincide with International Women’s Day 2024, please join us for a fascinating talk from local historian Beryl Patten about the life of Isabel Mary Heywood.

Isabel was a member of the philanthropic Heywood family and devoted many years to the Manchester and Salford Blind Aid Society, receiving an OBE for services to blind people in 1930.
