The Storynook is full of resources to help families explore and enjoy stories through play.

It’s perfect if you have been searching for an alternative to traditional storytelling! This is a self-led session, but library staff are on hand to answer any questions.

Sessions

All sessions run for 55 minutes.

Thursday 1:45-2:40pm, 3:00-3:55pm, 4:15-5:10pm
Friday 1:45-2:40pm, 3:00-3:55pm, 4:15-5:10pm

Booking information

  • Use of the Storynook for 55 minutes alongside other visitors.
  • Please select the number of attendees attending (both adults and children) when booking to reserve the Storynook for your selected time slot
  • To help us keep offering free sessions for as long as possible, donations are greatly appreciated. You can select a donation option when booking.
  • Parents/Carers are responsible for the supervision and safety of children in their care, and so must remain within the Storynook for the duration of the session. As some Storynook resources may present a choking hazard to younger children, this includes checking the suitability of resources prior to use.
  • There is no age limit on the Storynook so anyone who would enjoy the experience is welcome.
