Essential pool maintenance at Worsley Leisure Centre

Please be aware the swimming pools at Worsley Leisure Centre will be closed from Monday 24th November for approximately 4 weeks for essential maintenance to the pool’s air handling system.

Although much of the work will be done underground, the pool area will be too cold to remain open safely during this period.

What this means for you:

• Both the large & small pool will be closed for the duration of the works.
• The sauna/steam room will remain open as usual (except between 15th – 20th December).
• All other areas of the centre are unaffected.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding whilst we carry out these important improvements. A separate communication has gone out to swimming lessons customers.

You are welcome to use the pool facilities across the city at Broughton, Irlam & Cadishead, Eccles and Swinton & Pendlebury Leisure Centres.
