Football Family Fun Day

To celebrate the opening game of the Women’s Euros 2022, SCL’s Active Communities team will be hosting a number of free to enter activities at the Media City Piazza in Salford Quays.

Activities will include:

• Inflatable football pitch
• Inflatable football dart board
• Inflatable football pool table
• Penalty shoot out
• Climbing wall
• Football themed arts and crafts
• Face painting
• Glitter tattoos

Don’t miss exciting performances from MAPAS maestros percussion and senior brass quintet. All activities will be FREE, with the exception of a small charge for face painting and glitter tattoos. Just turn up, no booking required. Suitable for all ages.

Fancy a kick around with your mates?

SCL will also be celebrating the Women’s Euros offering FREE Football sessions on Tuesdays from 6-7pm at The Den, Walkden. Get your mates together for kick around in our indoor football cage.

Maximum groups of 8 people. Suitable for ages 8 – 16 years. Available from 5 July till 26 July.

Free Football hire at Pendleton Library

Getting involved is easy. All you have to do is:

• Join as a library member
• Borrow a ball for free
• Play with it on your local pitch, playground or park
• Return it back to us!
