From Monday 21 June, Cadishead Library will be open for browsing and PC use. Boothstown Library, Broughton Library, Eccles Library, Height Library, Irlam Library, Little Hulton Library, Pendleton Library, Swinton Library, Walkden Library and Winton Library are already open for the same services.
The emphasis will continue to be on the safety of our customers and our staff, so there are still some necessary restrictions in place, including on the duration of your visit. We will be following government advice and applying strict safety measures, especially around social distancing, cleaning and hygiene, and we will be asking all customers to co-operate.
The opening hours for Cadishead Library are:
- Monday – 10.00am to 12.30pm / 1.30 to 5.30pm
- Tuesday – 10.00am to 12.30pm / 1.30 to 5.30pm
The opening hours for Boothstown Library and Winton Library are:
- Monday – 10.00am to 12.30 pm / 1.30 to 5.30pm

PC Appointments
Call us to book a 60-minute appointment to use a computer. We will explain new procedures, including cleaning the PCs. Staff will be on hand to ensure you are able to log on to a PC but will only be able to provide limited help because of social distancing requirements. Printing will be available at all libraries.
