Eccles Library and Broughton Library are open for Call and Collect Appointments and PC Appointments. Government regulations for libraries during lockdown do not permit Browsing or any other service.
The emphasis will continue to be on the safety of our customers and our staff, so there are some necessary restrictions in place, including on the duration of your visit. We will be following government advice and applying strict safety measures, especially around social distancing, cleaning and hygiene, and we will be asking all customers to co-operate.

Call us to arrange to collect books from either Eccles or Broughton Library. Whilst we are unable to reserve specific items for you, we will do our best to ensure you get books that are suitable and make up a selection based on your preferences and interests. When you call we will explain our book quarantining and other safety measures.

Call us to book a 60-minute appointment to use a computer. We will explain new procedures, including cleaning the PCs. Staff will be on hand to ensure you are able to log on to a PC but will not be able to provide further help because of social distancing requirements. Printing will be available at both libraries.
