Bring a Friend – Activities for you and your non-member friend

Have you brought a friend along this month? Don’t forget to use your member benefit and bring along a workout buddy. If you fancy something more adventurous than a gym session or swim, then why not try one of the below activities for free?

  • Pre-book onto a group exercise class for a class of your choice for the coming week. It’s a good chance to try a class you’ve maybe never been to before. Simply bring your friend or family member along with you and our receptionists will allocate their one day pass there and then for that day or for a date of your choice (within the following week).
  • Enjoy a game of badminton, squash or table tennis. Especially if you’ve a competitive instinct that needs exercising! Free to you and your friend.
  • If your friend is into their footie, bring them along to a Just Play football session, free to SCL members. We have both male and female only sessions, all abilities are welcome, and the aim of the game is to have fun and strike up new friendships, no need to be part of a team. (There’s just a small charge applicable for your friend).
  • Remember, CrossFit SCL’s Functional Bootcamps are now part of your SCL Membership too. Working on resistance, bodyweight and sports related exercises, think running, rowing, pushing, pulling, squatting and jumping! On Mondays & Wednesdays at 10am at CrossFit SCL (based at Ordsall Leisure Centre).
