As you may have seen, we’ve been working, so you can get back to working out and back in the pool. Following government guidance that gyms and leisure centres can re-open, we’re delighted that Worsley Leisure Centre re-opened on Monday 27 July.
Worsley was the first of our centres to re-open and this will be followed by a phased re-opening of our other centres.
The schedule for re-opening our leisure centres is:
We’re ready to welcome you back and we’re confident the new procedures we have implemented will enable you to visit safely.
A visit to the gym and pool will look different. We’ve introduced social distancing guidelines, new cleaning procedures and a booking system, restricting the number of members in our centres at any one time.
All gym memberships are currently FROZEN, which means we’ve not been taking any payments during our closure.
If you wish to UNFREEZE your membership and return to our centres, you need to inform us by completing a Request to UNFREEZE form.
If you pay monthly by Direct Debit, then we’ll inform you when your payments will restart.
If you’ve paid upfront, we’ll inform you of the remaining length of your membership and your new expiry date.
If you’re still not ready to start back on your fitness journey with us when we re-open, don’t worry. We will only be unfreezing your membership if you ask us to. We will not UNFREEZE your membership until you tell us to and no membership payments will be taken until you UNFREEZE.
We understand you might have lots of questions about the re-opening so to help answer your queries we’ve created a range of resources:
We’re also looking to host a live ZOOM Q&A session with Marie Leather, our Health & Fitness and Aquatics Manager, so look out for more details on that coming soon.
We’ll be in touch with more information soon, keep following us on social media for further updates.
