Our Learning Team provides school visits for Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4, bringing history to life at our two unique museums, Ordsall Hall and Salford Museum and Art Gallery. Visit Salford Museums Schools’ Hub to find out everything you need to know about booking and visiting.

Salford Museums Schools’ Hub is also packed full of brand new FREE learning resources to support learning at school and at home, including videos, activities, image banks and CPD opportunities for teachers. You can search these by subject, type of resource, and themes within the resources. The cover a wide range of subjects, including local history, the Victorians, the Tudors, toys, art, and much more.

Also NEW is our range of Discovery Boxes, which are packed with museum objects, images and local history resources, designed to be delivered in the classroom. They link closely to the National Curriculum, and are supported by digital resources, including videos and activities. Find out more →
