Dance
Our Dance Development Team also provide classes for local primary schools and we are able to offer training and workshops for teachers including TOP’s Dance, professional teaching qualifications with the IDTA, and the Dance Leaders Award for young people. Football – JP schools
The JP Schools League is a primary school competition for boys and girls in years 5 and 6. The league hosts fixtures 6 times per year, usually the last Thursday of half term, with the 6th date being a cup competition. The league has been running now for 3 years, and has grown to 16 teams, split into 2 divisions based on ability. Teams play 6-a-side at Salford Sports Village every half term on state of the art 3G artificial pitches.
We still have room for new teams, so if your school has a football team in years 5 and 6 get involved. The league is open to both boys and girls of all abilities. The cost is only £15 per school each round, which contributes towards payment of the match referees and the pitch hire. All the staff running the league have recognised FA qualifications.
Our Gymnastics Development Team provides coaches to deliver classes for local primary and secondary schools during and after school.
The team can offer GCSE trampolining and gymnastics at Ordsall Leisure Centre during the day. We also offer sport specific training and workshops for teachers including Key Steps Training and Curriculum/After school Gymnastics.
