This course enables people who already hold their First Aid at Work Qualification to renew their qualification.

This is a 2 day renewal qualification for people who currently hold the 3 day First Aid at Work qualification.

Your current first aid qualification must be valid; this can be renewed up to 3 months prior to your current certificates expiry date.

Priorities of first aid including Casualty Management, Primary Survey, Secondary survey and CPR.

You will also learn how to deal with:

  • Breathing problems from asthma to choking
  • Diabetes
  • Epilepsy
  • Heart attack
  • Bleeding
  • Burns
  • Poisons
  • Allergic reactions
  • Spinal injuries
  • Fainting
  • Shock
  • Broken bones
  • Muscle and joint injuries
  • Head Injuries from concussion to skull fractures
  • Stroke
  • Eye Injuries
  • Unconsciousness

The First Aid at Work qualification.

You will be assessed on your ability to prioritise a casualties first aid needs and management of their conditions, CPR and Management of an unconscious casualty.

Upon successful completion of this qualification you will have renewed your qualification as first aider.
