Salford Community Leisure is a not for profit Community Benefit Society with charitable status XR71610.

We rely on donations to ensure we can continue to provide free access to Salford Museum & Art Gallery and Ordsall Hall & Gardens, as well as undertake all the work we do in the community across Salford.

Online Donations

Making a single or monthly donation online is the quickest and easiest way to support our work.

Donate with JustGiving

By making a regular monthly gift, which can also be set up through Just Giving by clicking on ‘Make a monthly donation’, it will help us to continue to plan for the future.

A donation of £6/month could enable one child to learn a musical instrument in the classroom throughout the school year. A donation of £12/month could enable a young person to attend diversionary activities on a Friday night, keeping them safe and out of trouble. (250+ young people attend each year).

Text to Give

What could be easier than texting SALF44 and £10 or other amount of your donation to 70070.

Donate to a Campaign

Donate to support an SCL Campaign and help us to reach our targets.

  • Love Here Give Here – is SCL’s new fundraising campaign to get people who love Salford to give back. So tell us what you love about Salford and donate to support Salford’s rich and diverse history, culture, arts, education, youth, older people, etc.
  • Ellis and Mary Markendale lived at Ordsall Hall between 1815-1871, and their portraits were discovered in 2011. They were in such a bad state having not seen daylight for decades, that we have launched a campaign to restore them and re-hang them in Ordsall Hall.
In Memory

You can keep a loved one’s name and memory alive by donating to us in their name. This can be a one-off or regular gift and will acknowledge your love ones. Please complete the following initial enquiry and one of our team will be in touch.

Leave a legacy in your Will

Salford Museum & Art Gallery was founded on legacies – including a £10,000 legacy from Edward Langworthy, former Mayor of Salford, which was used to build the west wing of the museum that still bears his name today.

By leaving a gift in your will to Ordsall Hall or Salford Museum & Art Gallery, you will enable our work to preserve the heritage of days gone by and for us to continue to educate and inspire thousands of children and adults each year.
